HAZELWOOD SCHOOL

Baltimore City Public School System’s Student Discipline Code states that “wearing or carrying electronic devices that are not medically prescribed” and “this includes beepers and cellular phones”,  are illegal to have in possession during school. The Student Discipline Code also states that confiscated items “will be returned at the end of the semester” to the parent/guardian. Repeated offenses will result in the confiscation of the device until “the end of the year.”

Students should not use phones for any reason  during school time or on school grounds. Other devices not allowed in school which are subject to confiscation are:

· Headphones

· “Walkmans”

· “IPODS”

· Handheld games such as

-Gameboy

-PSP

-Others
