What is Hazelwood's Boys Club?
Hazelwood’s Boys Club was started and is run by Mr. Darago the School Counselor seven years ago when it was noticed that certain students needed extra positive attention. The club started with 8 students and last year grew to over 100 students. Last year Mr. Darago expanded the boys club to the elementary school as well. The boys club is a very effective way to allow your boys to positively interact with others at Hazelwood. The opportunities that the club offers all must be earned. Behavior, class work and homework are monitored daily to ensure positive progress by club members. If your son is accepted into the club he must adhere to the club’s contract and code of conduct at all times.
